Traffic History for NSW?

Hi,

I am looking into applying for my next whp visa and I know this time I need a police report which I have done but I'm confused about the Traffic history report. On the website it says the traffic history is mandatory for QLD, VIC AND WA. It doesn't mention anything about NSW (I'm from sydney) I was assuming since they don't mention it I don't need it but I heard of one person from SA who applied and then they asked her after her application to get the traffic history, which would be a huge pain and obviously delay on getting the application through.

I have sent the cic people an email asking if I need it if I am from sydney and never lived in another state but so far no response. Has anyone from NSW applied with or without the traffic history report since they added this rule? and it's gone through or they asked for the report?

I am thinking of getting it anyway just to be on the safe side so if anyone has done this from canada could you share any tips on how to go about getting it?

not sure on how you would go about getting it. But i had a quick read over the passage about who needs to get a traffic report, and it mentioned previously resided. So its possible you dont need it, and that perhaps the person from SA had previously lived in one of the other states that's why they were required to provide it. Id say if there is a chance there is gonna be a delay, why not just be overly cautious and get it, just not sure on the details of how.  Hope you get it sorted out.

Dude, just go to the RTA and ask for a print out of your driving history, that's all you need. It costs like $25. It's basically a print out of all your licence classes as you've got them (learners, Ps, full etc) and any speeding tickets etc if applicable to you.

Thanks for all the responses. I found out that I can order it online from the rta as I am in canada right now, so for anybody else that needs to know, you pay for it online, they send it to your australian address then just get someone to forward it to you over here. I'm still not sure I absolutely need it for NSW but just to be safe smile
