Hey Dylan,
Depends on how much experience you have and what field you'll be looking to get work in. If you want to get work in your degree field then you may find it a bit tough if you haven't got much experience to back up the degree... they usually look for experience. That said, if you're willing to work for a low salary (by Australian standards) then there are quite a few marketing internship sort of things that pop up in Vancouver, but I think they're fairly highly contested.
Another thing to be careful of (I'm in marketing too btw) is that they define "marketing" a bit differently over there. About 80% of jobs I saw that were advertised as "marketing" were more "sales". Only about 20% of the stuff was more strategic marketing which is what you've been trained in. I also wouldn't restrict yourself to downtown Vancouver if you can handle public transport or getting a car. Lots of companies looking to hire outside the downtown core, not many looking to hire in the core. I ended up getting both my marketing jobs in Richmond (not a huge fan of the suburb) but living downtown.
Best of luck!
J
