Re: Tax returns from Canada Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay! So I just saw this on the homepage the other day, decided to have a look at taxback.com. Jumped online, filled out the information bit. Within a couple of hours I was sent the application package, had a phone call and was able to talk to someone online about my questions. Within 3 days from filling in that information query, I have sent all my docs in, and have been given my estimate. They charged me the 12.5% fee and it was soooo simple!!!!!

Re: Tax returns from Canada Hey, thanks for this article! Very very helpful. One quick question though: we are currently sitting down and filling out piles of forms for the starting-a-new-job-headache. The main ones causing confusion are the "Personal Tax Credits Return" forms, one for Canada Revenue Agency, and one for BC specifically. Are these the forms where we need to class ourselves as Non-Residents?

Re: Tax returns from CanadaJust curious, why are we classed as non-residents for tax purposes. From my quick read of the subject I would come to the conclusion that I'm a resident for tax purposes. |

Re: Tax returns from CanadaThe Canada Revenue Agency states that if you spend more than 183 days of the tax year in Canada then you are deemed a resident. http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/nnrsdnts/nd … eng.html#d |
