So you want to work in the ski resorts eh?
Whether it is for mountain biking or skiing, there's a bunch of fantastic ski resorts in Canada, particularly British Columbia and Alberta, so it's worth checking out the websites each to see if it might work for you, or if there is work there for you! You've probably heard about Whistler, because that's where most Australians end up, but we've developed a bit of a list of other resorts for you to have a look at, plus added in a Google Maps link and a little explanation.
Also keep in mind that there will always be more jobs in the village and with employers other than the crew that runs the mountain, so the links we've provided are just to get you started!
If you're interested in BC ski resorts in general, then the job board over at Go2 HR is an excellent place to start. It is very active, specialises in tourism and hospitality jobs in British Columbia, and they have a good variety of jobs on offer from all over the province.
Whistler Blackcomb
Rated as one of the best ski resorts in North America, if not the world, Whistler is fantastic for skiing and mountainbiking. Lots of terrain and really well built trails, as well as excellent facilities.

Lake Louise
Experience the beauty of glacial country, check out the lake which is on the left side of the Google link below - the lake is green due to glacial minerals and salts from the thaw. Awesome!

Fernie
Fernie is a smaller ski village, but still has a lot to offer and some awesome skiing. Many of the richer folks have places up here, and apparently the heli-skiing is to die for (not literally!).

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies
This is actually a joint site between a bunch of smaller resorts, including Fernie, Lake Louise, Kimberley, Nakiska, Mont-Saint-Anne and Stoneham (Quebec), so is an excellent place to look at job availability across Canada.
